Husky Table Tennis Club at UW

We are the Husky Table Tennis Club at the University of Washington. Last year, we managed to field very competitive teams and both our coed and women's team qualified to represent UW in the NCTTA (National Collegiate Table Tennis Association) Regional and National Championships for the first time in more than 5 years. At the Regionals in San Diego, CA, both of our teams placed in the top 4 in the west half of the US. The final ranking at the NCTTA National Championships placed our women's team at #4 in North America, and our coed team in the top 24 out of over 150 schools in total.

This year, we hope to continue from where we left off last year to represent our club and University of Washington at the national level, and hopefully achieve even better results this time. So far we are on track to qualify for the Regionals in California again, with our women's team in 1st place in the Northwest division, and coed team just behind the Canadian powerhouse UBC at #2. We're hoping to use this opportunity to make a very strong showing at the West Regional Championship, which is the next step towards the NCTTA Nationals again this year, with a passionate, hardworking team.

The Husky Table Tennis Club is a student-run organization at the University of Washington. In most recent years, we have only participated in Northwest division tournaments twice a year, and have lacked the funding to be able to go to any of the NCTTA championships. Our membership size is usually around 50-70, although these numbers have been growing very quickly in recent years. Every year, we receive a small amount of funding from the school, but it is very limited, and these funds are often depleted quickly by the numerous clubs on campus.  We are very excited to have the chance to compete at the NCTTA Championships this year, but it does take a lot financially to make the trip possible. We would greatly appreciate a gift of any amount, and you will forever be remembered by us! Thanks so much for your support!
