Students Helping Students
Over the past century, UW students have united to show the power of participation. From the Yoshino cherry trees in the Quad to supporting access to mental health resources, the mark of graduating Huskies is everlasting.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its ripple effects, our campus community faces an unprecedented number of students with immediate financial need. Many UW seniors and their families now find themselves in immensely challenging circumstances.
Some have lost the jobs and income they rely on to cover their UW education and living expenses. Others face immediate food and housing insecurities or personal and family health crises.
The UW Seattle COVID-19 Emergency Student Fund provides unrestricted resources to undergraduate and graduate students who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help bring relief to these students and prevent the disruption of their education.
Your gift today will help provide the following necessities for students in need:
- Tuition, books and supplies
- Housing and living expenses
- Technology for virtual learning
- Child care
- Unanticipated medical cost
Your support will make all the difference.
